President & CEO, Kleberg Bank

Gabe Guerra received a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Texas at Austin. He is a graduate of The Southwest Graduate School of Banking at Southern Methodist University Dallas. Gabe has over 30 years of experience in banking and finance. He currently serves as President & CEO for Kleberg Bank. Previously, Gabe served as the Regional Vice President for Indirect Lending for the 12 State Midwestern Region of the U.S. for Wells Fargo Bank. He spent the first five years of his career with Ford Motor Credit Company in Austin and Dallas, Texas in various areas of management.

Mr. Guerra has been involved in various civic activities supporting jobs, education, and quality of life in the Corpus Christi community. Gabe serves as Chairman for the Independent Bankers Association of Texas and Chairman of the Port of Corpus Christi Authority. Gabe is an Eagle Scout and is Immediate Past President of the South Texas Council of the Boy Scouts of America. He currently serves as Chairman of the Christus Spohn Health System. Gabe previously served as past Chairman of the Corpus Christi Regional Economic Development Corporation, past Chairman of the Corpus Christi Chamber of Commerce, Past Chairman of the Del Mar Foundation Board of Trustees, and the Past Chairman of the United Way of the Coastal Bend. He also represents our region as a Director of the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas San Antonio Branch and was elected by his peers to serve as a federal delegate board member of the Independent Community Bankers Association of America.

Gabe and his wife Lisa are parents to Lauren and Gabriela. Both girls are students at UT Health and Trinity University.
