Join us in Corpus Christi for the 2026 GFOAT Fall Conference! We’re bringing together government finance professionals from across the state for a few days of great sessions, practical ideas, valuable connections, and plenty of fun.
You’ll have opportunities to learn from experts, swap ideas with colleagues, and visit with vendors who understand the work you do. And when the sessions wrap up, enjoy Corpus Christi’s sunny beaches, Gulf seafood, and laid-back coastal atmosphere—plus a special evening of food and music aboard the iconic USS Lexington.

We’re excited to invite you to the Bruce Testa / GFOAT Semi-Annual Golf Tournament on October 14. GFOAT Golf outing will be held at Lozano Golf Center, located at 4401 Old Brownsville Rd, Central City, TX. The tournament will begin at 8:00 a.m. with a shotgun start.

• 4 Person Scramble – Par is your friend
• Entry fee: $55.00 – includes golf cart, green fee, and range balls
• 4 Par 3 contest
• Long Drive Contest for Men & Women
• Tiger and Bubba Drive – $20.00 per team
• 1st, 2nd, and 3rd team prizes
• Prizes for Last Place Team

This conference is CASUAL, but flight-deck-approved attire is approved! Think jeans, comfortable shoes, bomber jackets, and anything else that keeps you relaxed and ready for takeoff. You’ll also receive a conference T-shirt to wear on the first day. Meeting rooms can sometimes feel more Arctic than Gulf Coast, so bring a sweater or light jacket to stay cool-but-cozy while you soak up the knowledge.
