This webinar will address the significant changes currently driving municipal bond issuance volume and structure and provide insight into how these changes may affect how your organization finances its capital projects. Not since the Tax Reform Act of 1986 have we seen such change impacting our market, affecting both the structure of issues being offered as well as the composition of investors who are purchasing these issues. We will review how these recent changes have impacted the market through changing investor preferences, supply and demand dynamics, the increasing use of private placements, and alternative methods being implemented to advance refund tax-exempt bonds. We will also take a look at potential changes that may be on the horizon as part of an infrastructure package being considered by Congress. Register today.
Join Jim Vogel and Chris Low for a preview of the election and its consequences. It’s not just the White House at stake — a handful of critical races will determine control of the Senate. We’ll consider the voters’ top concerns, how the candidates plan to answer those concerns, and the likely agenda in the first hundred days. The election is the next event for interest rates, but we’ll look broadly at key economic trends and the likely influence of the pandemic in 2021 as well.
